Who We Are

Our History

Founded by Dr. Pat Webbink, a clinical psychologist with more than 50 years experience, The Enrichment Centers, Inc.(TEC) has been offering extended learning programs throughout the U.S. for students since 1994. Students of all ages and learning need benefit from our large, highly qualified staff’s tutoring and mentoring in school, vacation programs, after-school and summer classes. Founded first as The Center for the Gifted and Talented, TEC was certified to work with the No Child Left Behind program and taught reading and math to at-risk children throughout the states of Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.

Established in 1987, we’ve expanded to several areas around the country, specializing in in-school, after-school programs, vacation, summer programs, and tutoring.

Our Mission

Through innovative and dynamic programs, we make learning an empowering and enjoyable experience for all students. Our commitment is to the education of the whole person, tailoring our teaching methods to best suit each student’s needs and abilities. We build self-esteem, character, and the skills needed for the 21st-century like creative thinking appreciation of diversity, interpersonal cooperation, and technological awareness needed in order to thrive in a global society.
