If your child qualifies for free or reduced price meals (FARMS) and attends one of the schools listed on
this website or otherwise in “need of improvement” under the
No Child Left Behind Act, he or she is
eligible for FREE tutoring in reading and FREE ENROLLMENT in our summer reading program.
Check us out on the list of approved providers by the state of Maryland offering
free tutoring under the No Child Left Behind Act’s Supplemental Education Services (SES) program.
We utilize the dynamic Voyager Passport curriculum proven to help students read at or beyond grade
level. In fact, Passport has recently been adopted by some of most progressive school systems in
the nation. Our certified teacher to student ratio is 1-10.
Each session with your child, yields instant feedback on his or her progress. Thus we
can keep you up-to-date on your child’s achievement. We offer a “state of the art” program
that provides direct, systematic instruction in each of the essential reading
components - phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
These elements come together to form the core for developing excellent reading
skills and maximize your child’s success.
Our programs include free snacks, prizes and awards for attendance. Depending
on the program school, we also offer free transportation or FREE lunch.
